The Raptor Education Foundation is pleased to represent the work of Donald L. Malick. Don (1929-1986) is known to his peers as one of the best bird artists of this era. His work is based on extensive field experience with the Denver Museum of Natural History, and the National Museum in Botswana. His raptor paintings capture the essence of these magnificent birds better than 98% of artists working today. He has been featured in Audubon Magazine, illustrated plates for the National Geographic Guide to North American Birds, and extensively illustrated the Birds of Colorado, published by the Denver Museum of Natural History. Don produced all the illustrations for REF's coloring album, Eagles, Hawks, Falcons, and Owls of America.
Malick's work has rarely been made available in print form, although his original paintings are found in private and museum collections worldwide. This is your opportunity to own a rare and significant work from the wildlife art genre at an affordable price. All prints are authenticated with the Foundation's seal and a registration number. Proceeds from sales of Malick prints go towards supporting the Foundation's unique environmental programs, and Don's estate.
