5 out of 5 starsThis is the only children’s book I’ve seen that does a comprehensive job portraying the richness and diversity of birds of prey that exist in North America...As a scientist, this is certainly the kind of coloring book I'd be happy to give my kids. And, as a raptor biologist, I'd be proud to give it to a colleague's kids.  You and Don Malick have a children's book to be proud of.  Congratulations!  From a review by Brian Millsap, President, Raptor Research Foundation. Mr. Millsap, is also the recently appointed Chief, Division of Migratory Birds, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. Read the whole review.

"Delightful" and "masterful" from Pat Redig, DMV, The Raptor  Center, University of Minnesota, arguably the best raptor veterinarian on the planet. Read the whole review.

 "Highly recommended"- Institutional Review

5 out of 5 stars A simple, appealing coverage, January 11, 2003
Reviewer: Midwest Book Review (see more about me) from Oregon, WI USA
Coloring books are not appropriate for library lending and are typically not featured here; but Raptors: The Eagles Hawks Falcons And Owls Of North America is a very fine educational guide and a highly recommended pick parents will want to pick up for their children and that librarians could utilize as a reading prize incentive for their summer reading program promotions. Color drawings of hawks, eagles, and owls accompany basic information on North American raptors, with complex and detailed black and white drawings kids can fill in. A simple, appealing coverage.
5 of 5 stars A must have! September 25, 2002

We copyrighted this back in 1998, when our instincts knew the reality of anthropogenic global warming was BS.  In 2007, the numerous proofs of global warming, and its causes, confirm our instincts- just read Unstoppable Global Warming-every 1,500 years by Singer & Avery if you are still drinking the cool aid that the Prophet Algore Ayatoldya is pouring into the public drinking fountain.  Otherwise, put this on your car's window and watch people's brains heat up.

Rational people are waking up... this helps them on the way.
