The massive industrialization of the countryside by covering habitat with acres upon acres of solar panels is not contributing to a green, clean, safe or affordable production of electrons. It is killing birds by the thousands, destroying habitat measured in square miles of dead zones, causing instability in electric grids, and increasing electricity rates for all concerned.
Add wind turbines to this and the wholesale slaughter of wildlife, and wild spaces is unfathomable. So you might think that the Royal Society for the Preservation of Birds in the UK would be screaming “bloody murder.” They are not…like all parties concerned with this issue, follow the money.
